EchoMetrics Clinical Reference
The Essence of Computer Decision Support System

Cardiovascular disease is a highly complex, multivariable disease. Single data features are incapable of adequately reflecting the magnitude of patient risk. It is quite difficult for even an expert to instantaneously aggregate and logically interpret multiple variables.

EchoMetrics PCs represent a dramatic breakthrough in the utilization of echo ultrasound to solve the multivariable complexity challenge in cardiovascular diagnostics. To interpret echocardiograms with optimal diagnostic utility, quality and cost effectiveness, EchoMetrics PCs have developed a computer decision support system (CDSS) assisted interpretation utilizing knowledge based computing in combination with initial image and study review by Advanced Clinical Sonographers.

EchoMetrics PC's interpretations use echocardiography community's knowledge base as well as Dr. James Seward's experience from serving for over 20 years as the Director of the Cardiovascular Echo Lab at the Mayo Clinic. Data interpreted in this fashion is thus not the result of a single physician reviewer but represents a consensus between the reviewer and an expansive expert knowledge base.

EchoMetrics PCs produce a high quality, consistent and reproducible interpretation with diagnostic utility that changes the paradigm of patient outcome and cost.
